According to recent government statistics, more than half of the entire country is zoned as social or ejido land. It is also important to note that many ejido communities are located on the coast, in current and future tourist destinations.
Major resorts, luxury homes, condominiums, and golf courses have been built on ejido land, and many more super projects are currently being developed. Any major development or expansion in Mexico's tourism industry will almost certainly create investment opportunities involving ejido land.
